19 July 2019 - 16: 33

El Town hall of El Poble Nou de Benitatxell promotes the culture of respect in their parties under the motto "No es no, from festa sense agressions" and installing more light in the darkest streets and forming 15 volunteers to avoid sexist, racist, LGTBIQfobias and any kind of aggressions.

And it is that, on the one hand, the council of parties in charge of Mayte Roldán and the Department of Equality, Policies of Gender and Diversity in charge of Víctor Bisquert have organized a course on the Violet Punt that have taught a psychologist and a social worker. In this course the first-time volunteers have been trained Violet Punt that is organized in a local festivities. Part of these volunteers and volunteers will be festeras and festeros next year. The main function of Punt Violeta will be to be alert to the occurrence of no sexist aggression at parties and to be in contact with the security forces.

Volunteers will promote a culture of respect and tolerance in a few days in which all neighbors and visitors should have fun in a big way, always with respect for freedom and diversity.

Better lighting for safer parties

The commitment of the city council for more inclusive and safe parties goes beyond the campaigns and slogans that have been embodied in 400 glasses and 300 backpacks that will be distributed during the days of the patronal celebration of Santa María Magdalena. Thus, new lighting has been installed in the points of the urban center that were dark and could feel insecure. Likewise, the consistory has reinforced the public lighting in the Carrer Gateta and the parking lot The Escoles.

In addition, The Assembly of Joves has launched a decalogue that combats sexist and racist attitudes and sexist aggressions. It promotes equality, feminism, sorority, freedom of expression and tolerance and makes enjoying parties full of respect, freedom and fun. The campaign against the aggressions in parties consists of posters and brochures made by the local designer Isabel Buigues that have been distributed by the shops and public spaces of the municipality.

This group ensures that "in diversity is harmony". So, for the councilor of parties and the councilor of equality "Violet-tinged parties, tolerant and that shine with the light of respect and equality, will be the maximum expression of a living, modern, inclusive town that really knows how to have fun".

Manolo Segarra, look how heavy you are !!! That no matter how much you bark, insult and lie, no one listens to you anymore ... And how sad to use news against sexist violence to launch insults, you no longer respect anything !!!!! You don't give a shit about people's pain, that there are families who could have their homes lost, that they had to leave there, you are sadists !!! But that's why you are in opposition.
