Triple date festera in El Poble Nou de Benitatxell. The locality celebrates this Sunday the traditional chocolate of San Blas and closes the festivity of San Antonio Abad in the Marina Alta. But to this day joins the celebration of the half year of quintadas, the Saturday day 2, in which there will be a popular food and discommobile in the Plaça de les Pesqueres.
The Sunday session will start with a great atmosphere of brotherhood. The Penya of Cavallistes i Carreters, organizers of the event, in collaboration with the Department of Popular Festivals, by Maite Roldán, will offer a popular lunch to all attendees at the 9: 30 hours on la Pau street. The horses may concentrate in an adjacent space.
Next, at the 12 hours, the pet parade will begin. The Colla the Llebetjà will entertain the parade with his music. The party will end at the Market Square where the blessing of the animals will take place with the presence of the mayor, Miguel Ángel García, and the councilor of Fiestas. In addition, along with these acts, the traditional chocolate and the 400 cast of the San Blas festivities will be joined by the Band of Music of El Poble Nou de Benitatxell. It will be at 9: 30 hours on La Pau street.
In the afternoon there will be a theater show, Wild, to empower women and combat micromachism. It will be at the 18: 30 in the tent installed in the Plaça de les Pesqueres.
