Given the importance of these festivities and the great work involved in preparing all the programming, it has been preferred not to wait until after the summer and to cancel this year's festival directly. It has been done also thinking of the festivities and festivities, so that they can have their special year without uncertainty and conditions.

In this way, those from 2020 will become partiers in 2021, and those from 2021 will do so in 2022. In other words, the girls will be 19 years old and the boys will be 23. This measure also serves to put the focus, more even if possible, in the social emergency triggered by the health crisis.

Aid for businesses and freelancers

The budget for parties will go to support the business fabric through a package of grants, plans and studies for businesses and freelancers, of which more details will be revealed soon. “We are experiencing an exceptional situation and, given the uncertainty, we believe that cancellation is the best option. Both for the festive men and women, as well as for the Town hall. The health and social emergency is currently the priority of the government team, and this decision will allow us to take advantage of a significant amount of money to help those who need it most now ", commented the Councilor for Fiestas, Mayte Roldán.
