If this crisis has demonstrated anything, it is the great spirit of solidarity of the citizenry. The food bank of El Poble Nou de Benitatxell, managed by Cáritas Parroquial, has received a donation of 500 euros from the Benitachell Bowls Club.
Last week, the president, Maria Morawiec, gave the money, which will go towards the purchase of food for the most disadvantaged families.
Benitachell Bowls Club was founded on June 20, 1988 with about 150 members. In the last 30 years it has been consolidated and currently has 200 members, including members, annual and temporary members. Along with sports activities, they also carry out important social work.
