When Christmas comes around, there are always charitable people who think of those most in need. The Serrat family, who run the Bar L'Avinguda on Avenida Juan Carlos I, is one of them. For the third consecutive year, this establishment will offer, on the second day of Christmas (December 26), a free meal for the most needy families. The objective, according to Juanjo, the son of the owners, is to help those who need it. "We want people to have a good Christmas day, so we invite everyone who doesn't have a proper Christmas day to have a Christmas puchero and make them feel at home."
The venue has a capacity for 80 people, "And we hope that people will come, that they will be encouraged to come, that they will not be ashamed, we affirm that everything is free for the people who really need it". In addition to the food there will be a Christmas atmosphere with cava, polvorones and music, "We want everyone to leave happy and the idea is to do it every December 26th."
