On the ground floor there is the Tourist Office, from where you can see the glazed floor under which are tombs of the ancient Xàbia. On the back were the Porxens, with five arches, which formed an open market in which the market was held. The only one that remains open communicates the Church Square with the Plaça de Baix (Down).

  1. Garrote Shell. says:

What about the palm trees on Calle Florencia, Vía Augusta, etc.? They don't take care of them, they clean, they don't do anything. In the Montañar 82, they get into the terraces with the danger that this entails. Gentlemen of the town hall, also take care of us that our taxes support you. And pick up the phone sometime, I'm sick of calling.

  2. andrew cookson says:

    Hello,
I am a resident of Javea and have been for a number of years but i must say how bad the Council is at keeping residents informed of works activity, across the road from me is where the First Granadella car park was, off La Guardia, now fence down building materials delivered daily pipes stored, as this is a green zone it should be looked after, i didnt think it was a builders yard !!
    Anyone know what's going on?
I will be glad to see what's going on

  3. Fatima Cortés Pujante says:

Good morning, just a few lines, to express my most absolute disappointment and outrage, for the meager, and almost touching the tease, for the cavalcade of Kings that this year have represented in the town of Javea; all those children excited, willing to wait for the time it took, regardless of the cold, and then, meet four pages, very little candies and a single float, with the three kings in it .., their faces embarrassed, what a shame!
There really is not a single place to get money for a ride in conditions ???, we will end up leaving Javea empty to search in other villages for workshops, activities and horseback riding that keep the illusion of our children, all this, regardless of the political ideology that you have, which should not, with a little ethics and moral principles, splash this type of event.

    • Sergi says:

Well, I loved it. I found it elegant, complete and full of elements that made the children happy. A 10 to the organization !!!!

    • Louis boville says:

Hello good morning ... to say something.
I am going to address all the people of the town hall. Do you really want to help the citizen and foreigners?
I have been living here for about 9 years and can I understand Valencian? (Catalan)
Excuse me, but I cannot understand why you do NOT transmit on the radio, internet (and in other media) the important information about the corona virus in Spanish, both for the Spaniards who live in Jávea and for foreigners, who are not few and possible. perfectly understand this information you transmit.
      - Don't you say you want to help foreigners? Well, it doesn't seem like it.
      - Does it cost so much to change the language in these times of emergency?
      - How many people are going to get infected for not understanding well, of course… everything?
Unheard of, and don't make excuses, it's time to help the citizen
Think about it and put aside pride
      A hug
      Luis

      • Sergi says:

Ara the people will be infected but I do not understand the valence. Luis you are a prepotent and a bad person. If you went to a territory with two official languages, watch out. A month, the City Council always communicates in both. Do not intoxicate.

      • Emilio says:

Some people who live from tourism and you have to speak to them in Catalan ...

  4. Juan cl hill says:

Hello, can you report the status of the tiger mosquito pest and other species? Especially if they have activated some decontamination protocol, I am especially interested in the area of the cape (streets of musicians)

  5. Fatima says:

It seems a shame to me that they are taking the works of the sidewalks of the second mountain, although it does not surprise me because last Monday there was only one worker and he was not more than half an hour working. So the work can last for years, but there is no right that they have not foreseen that summer will come over us and it will be chaotic for those of us who have a house in that area because they have put it in a single direction and full of fences. It is outrageous!

    • Erika says:

      Totally agree with you!
As it is also outrageous that the bus has to make an absurd detour, not being able to drive on that street more than in one direction. And the bus schedule continues, over the years, being absurd; in full festivities of San Juan it continues to circulate every hour, apparently the «winter» in Jávea lasts until the 26 of June!

  6. Javier says:

It is not understood that the people who come to enjoy the tranquility of Javea, we have to suffer from not being able to sleep for 2 nights. It is not possible to put the festival in a non-residential area. It's common sense. A respect for others.

  7. Jose sánchez says:

Do not have vostes website in Llengua Valenciana ?. Legally and according to the noun Statute, the two official crowds in the Comunitat are Valencia and Castella. Catalá does not appear in the nostre Estatut i no tinc problem in which appears, at the coast of atres llengues alienes, but not in the lloc Of the Valenian Llengua,

  8. MARTA MARTÍNEZ BURRIEL says:

We have a summer house. We love Javea, but the care of the beach of «El Arenal» one of the main claims of vacationers, does not take proper care. Garbage and seaweed cleaning should be a priority. As enthusiasts of this area we miss this work, which we consider essential. Thank you

  9. Adolfo Reguera Blanco says:

I have to say that yesterday at the party of the House of Andalusia I was greatly disappointed to see that to go to the service, you had to go to the nearest tree to meet the needs. ”As the lord who was in charge of serving food told me as a drink It seems to me that the residents of the town deserve more than having to urinate on the public highway because there is no other choice »something deplorable«. So I think that even if it was only for dignity, there would have to be some «minimum services». a neighbor greets you that if only interest is that things are done well.
