Since the update of this Thursday, the Valencian Community has registered 344 new cases by PCR test, which puts the total number of positives at 14.796 people. By province, the number of new cases is as follows: 18 in Castellón; 82 in the province of Alicante; 240 in the province of Valencia, to which we must add 4 new unassigned cases, which brings the number of cases not assigned to any province to 10.
On the other hand, 284 patients with coronavirus have been discharged, so that the total of people cured now amounts to 19.281 people: 2.768 in Castellón, 6.360 in Alicante and 10.137 in Valencia, in addition to 16 unassigned cases.
Thus, there are currently 2.073 active cases, representing 9,08% of the total positives. Valencian hospitals currently have 160 people admitted: 8 in the province of Castellón, without patients in the ICU; 55 in the province of Alicante, 8 of them in the ICU; and 97 in the province of Valencia, 7 of them in ICU.
There have been no deaths from coronavirus since the last update, so the total number of deaths remains at 1.481 people.
The total number of tests carried out for the detection of the coronavirus amounts to 629.075, of which 494.023 have been through PCR and 135.052 through rapid tests.
Residences
At the moment, there are some positive cases in 16 residences for the elderly (8 in the province of Alicante and 8 in the province of Valencia), 2 residences for people with functional diversity in the province of Alicante and 2 centers for minors in the province of Valencia . There is a positive new resident and two workers.
Currently only 2 residences in the Valencian Community are under active surveillance of health control: 0 in the province of Castellón, 1 in the province of Alicante and 1 in the province of Valencia.
