The new update of data on the evolution of the pandemic in the municipalities shows an increase in infections, in the last three days, compared to the previous day. The new report provided by the Ministry of Health, the Department of Health of Dénia registers 22 new positive cases compared to 14 last Tuesday.
A negative but not alarming data, although the accumulated incidence of the virus continues to rise slightly, surpassing the level of normality. The 22 new infections have caused the incidence to be 31,65 cases per 100.000 inhabitants in the Marina Alta. Currently, the region has a total of 9.863 cases since the beginning of the pandemic, of which 54 are active.
The good news is that there is no need to mourn any new victim of the virus. The Dénia Health Department registers 201 deaths since the pandemic began.
In Xàbia, the new update indicates two new cases, a figure in which the outbreak detected yesterday by Public Health is not yet reflected. The town of Xabiera accumulates 1.456 infections since March 2020, of which 14 cases are still active. The incidence in Xàbia is at a high level, specifically almost double that marked as normal; in 49,97 cases per 100.000 inhabitants.
