This is how the new slope of the Caleta of the port of Xàbia looks like

November 24 from 2021 - 15: 00

After almost seven months, the emergency works to consolidate the slope of Caleta of the Port have already finished. The work, in charge of the Generalitat, has involved an investment of 1 million euros.

The new infrastructure solves the instability of the slope. The stone wall anchored with gabions (filtering dams that allow the normal flow of water and the retention of silts) and landscaped details provide a new image and security to this area of Duanes de la Mar.

The slope comprises a staircase, fully integrated into the environment, which gives direct access to Caleta street and in turn to the port of Xàbia.

In this photo of Xàbia Meravellosa we can verify the definitive work of these emergency works.

Congratulations, more work well done and more general cleanliness. One detail, the uralite construction is very ugly ...

There is only one corrugated hut left over, which makes everything ugly and, furthermore, it was not forbidden?

    What.horror.
The gardener "details" betray a terrible lack of taste.
Defining their placement will have cost them three months. What a mess of everything.

You have not mentioned that the staircase has a locked iron door that prevents the passage, to see if someone can explain such stupidity ...

    • July. says:

I am outraged to read that this stairway gives access to the cove and the port.
And as you say, down there are 7 steps and the door is locked.
But it is that even if it is open and you go up, you have to go back down because there is no exit due to a wall and some fields that are private property. How much falsehood on the part of many people.

  7. Shocked says:

I can't understand how such a fortune can cost.
    Inexplicable
I have been immersed in budgets for years and this takes me by surprise, I investigate to see ...
Unless he's gone, it's astronomical salaries, not the workers, that's for sure.
    Investigation…

So much does it cost to do things well and with pleasure?
You just need a little desire and do everything like that.
As well as street cleaning and new well-done works.
Congratulations and keep it up, there is still a lot of Jávea to fix, since they entered the government they have not done anything.
