La Casa del Cable welcomes, since last Friday, July 23, a new exhibition. It is a group show entitled CABLE ART SET in which seven plastic artists come together to present their different works. Painting, sculpture and new media art they meet, together, in the Duanes de la Mar exhibition hall, located in front of the sea, on Avenida de Marina Española.
The seven artists, united by their passion for art and by their link to Xàbia or the Marina Alta area. Most of them are from Xàbia; Jaume Monfort (Xàbia), Tony Mari (Xàbia), Tomás Sivera (Xàbia), Natalia Ribes Hawkins (Xàbia), Francesc Marzal (Xàbia), Juan Caravaca (Dénia) and Fuensanta Niñirola (Valencia).
The cultural proposal in which abstraction dominates, from the expressionism of large spots of color, to the minimalism where the line stands out, also combines not only painting, but sculpture and plastic interventions. The exhibition will be open to the public until September 12.
At the inauguration, the artists were accompanied by the mayor, José ChulviAnd the councilman of Culture, Quico Moragues.
