'Ojos Rojos' starts, the festival that turns Xàbia and Dénia into the epicenter of photography

20 September 2021 - 07: 20

The international festival of Spanish and Ibero-American photography "Ojos Rojos" is a shot made with exhibitions of great photographers such as Bernard Plossu, national photography prize in France and awarded in 2013 with the PhotoEspaña, and also shoots at will with very risky proposals and Vanguard.

"We have people who are starting and established artists, black and white and color photography and proposals
very daring and avant-garde and other more classic ", as explained by Mike Steel, curator of this contest together with Mili Sánchez, at the opening of the third edition.

For its part, the Councilor for Culture, Quico Moragues, has indicated that "the exhibitions have a high level. This festival places Xàbia and Dénia at the epicenter of photography". 'Ojos Rojos' is an exciting festival that will turn heads until October 17.

The inauguration was attended by four of the exhibiting photographers: Nina Llorens, Ire Lenes, Lucía Morate and Isabel San Ruperto, who explained what they want to show through the image. And it is that, "Red Eyes" even borders the limits of photography.
