The maximum representative of Les Fogueres de Sant Joan 2023 already has a name: Arantxa Pons Escudero will be the Regina Major of the Quintà. Arantxa was chosen by vote of her Quintà to represent Xàbia and the San Juan festivities.
His name was made known last night, almost at midnight, by the voice of his predecessor, Olivia Clemente. The Regina of 2022 was the one who opened the envelope and revealed to the public the mystery of the position.
Arantxa, very excited and eager to start her festive year, pointed out to Xàbia.com that the moment of her appointment was totally unexpected, "I was surprised. Although there were many names that were being considered in the Quintà, I never imagined that I would be the one chosen as queen". Now, she happily awaits the next act of festivities, although she notes that one of her favorites is the Proclamation.
Pons, who is currently in high school, plans to study with a double degree: International Relations together with Law or Economics. The Queen of Fogueres 2023 thanks her Quintà for the trust placed in her and hers as her colleagues to represent them and hopes that everyone enjoys this year. "I am going to enjoy and be in all those acts in which I have to represent Xàbia and her parties". Arantxa Pons will be accompanied by her bridesmaids, Elia Marí and Lucía Llidó.
