Club Xàbia Bikers started the season participating in the Costa Blanca Bike Race. A test in pairs and with the option of Full 4 days and the Half two days In the modality Ride, it should be noted that two representatives of this club, Ana Moreno and Nina Drees, took the podium. Moreno was second with a time of 3: 25.39 and Drees was third with a mark of 4: 32.05.
In the four-stage race, integrated into the UCI calendar, with a total of 160km, with 5.200 of accumulated altitude, in the area of Finestrat, Altea, Polop, Benidorm, epic moments of BTT were experienced. The cyclists had to circulate through circuits where they encountered infernal climbs and vertigo descents.
All the components of the Xàbia Bikers that participated finished without any loss, being the best pair formed by Martín Sldhofer / Roberto Docampo who entered the position 15, with a total time of 10: 15.05. In the Màster 40 category, highlight the 14º position achieved by Edu Martínez / Pepe Saucedo, who finished the test in 10: 29.00.
