This morning, the General Meeting of Amjasa has renewed the board of directors of the public water company unanimously of all councilors. The new board of directors, management and representation body, consisting of nine directors and directors, complying with the parity, and a third being members of the Corporation, will be chaired by the mayor, José Chulvi and will feature socialist representatives, Isabel Bolufer, Paco Torres, Lourdes Ros and Javier Bonet, the rest of the parties will have a representative, Teresa Legay from the PP, César Rodríguez from CpJ, Llúcia Signes from Compromís and Raúl de Lope from C's.
Previously the previous counselors have been dismissed to whom the mayor has thanked the work they have done during these last four years.
Remember that the Board of Directors will be made up of the nine people mentioned above and the manager of the company and the General Board of Amjasa are made up of 21 councilors. Likewise, the two auditors have also been appointed for the approval of the minutes, Marta Bañuls y Juan Ortolá and of substitutes, Rosa Cardona and Vicent

After the celebration of the first General Meeting, last August 12, there was a meeting of spokespersons to make a more balanced distribution of consellers as requested by the Popular Party, therefore, it was proposed to extend the number of councilors to 11 so the PSOE and the PP would have one more representative. This distribution would be a representation equal to the information commissions.
Now, as of today, a modification of the bylaws will be proposed to the Board of Amjasa so that the directors of the municipal water company of Xàbia become 11.
