El IES number 1 de Xàbia hosts these days a Conference on Health Emergencies organized by the Health Department of the educational center and that are being taught by the students of the Middle Cycle of Emergencies that are taught in the center.
For this edition have been designed workshops by teachers (who teach these modules) and students, consisting of: Transfer of patients, immobilization techniques, CPR, OVACE, Health Care in case of Poisoning, Burns and Bruises, Bandages, Control of vital signs, Explanation of the Sanitary Endowment of an ambulance; ceded for these acts by Creu Roja de Xàbia.
This educational proposal is novel as it is taught by students for the rest of the students of the different cycles, with their language and spontaneity. The objective is to provide the maximum information and we can be prepared to know how to act in the case of an emergency or emergency, which should be the role that we have to exercise, empower a student committed to society to which they will serve.
Dr. Juan Puig, Commissioner of the Department of Public Health and Public Health of the Department of Health of Dénia, attended the presentation and opening ceremony. La Councilor for Education He expressed the support of the City Council in these exciting initiatives in the training of students. These workshops are complemented by the conference of Introduction to counseling: Active listening that will be taught by Mrs. Elena Ariste.
