The Local Police of Xàbia warns of an alleged scam that has been detected in the population and for which they use the name of the municipal water company, Amjasa.
Several subscribers have received in recent days a phone call from someone posing as company personnel and who, under the pretext of carrying out quality controls on their taps, tries to arrange a visit and thus be able to access private homes, is suspected, in order to scam or steal valuables.
Amjasa wants to make it clear that she has nothing to do with these calls and that her staff, who are always perfectly identified, carry out daily analyzes on the public network but never inside the homes.
