Several agents of the Local Police of Xàbia they returned to make an appearance in the plenary session of the City Council for demand improvements in the employment situation. One of the agents intervened in the plenary requesting Mayor of Xàbia more involvement and not delegated to the Councilor for Security.
The agent explained that several colleagues have had to leave the local police in Xàbia, occupying places in other municipalities and they are doubling services due to lack of staff.
The mayor replied that the plenary session was not the forum for this debate although they were entitled to do so, and at the request of his presence he indicated that "I cannot be in all meetings and delegating is not departing from responsibility."
For her part, the Councilor for Security stated that the Town hall is working to consolidate the 15 interim positions before the end of the year.
