Xàbia's 2023 cultural program for the first semester of the year includes different activities and events for the little ones, among which stand out: Cinema in Valencian, storytelling and theater.
Cinema in Valencia
It will be for two Saturdays at the House of Culture. The projection of the films will have free admission and will be, on both occasions, at 17:30 p.m.
- February 4: Good day, mon!. A spectacle of animal life.
- 4 March: Llunatics. This film is recommended for the second and third cycle of primary school. The synopsis is that "Peter, a boy who dreams of being an astronaut like his father, will discover that there is an outer space very different from the one he thought, full of magic and legendary creatures, when he has to travel to the Moon to rescue his little sister. Accompanied by a peculiar green beetle who wants to recover his lost leg and his beloved and with the collaboration of the Man of the Sand, they will cross the Milky Way and meet the elemental forces”.

Children's Theatre
The appointment will be one Saturday of each month at 17:30 p.m. at the Casa de Cultura. The entrance will cost 3 euros.
- January 28: Chinchulina and the Chinese nightingale. This Saturday it is the little ones who have a show to suit them. The first of the theaters for children of the year arrives with the representation of Chinchulina and the Chinese Nightingale. A show with puppets from the Madrid company La Canica (recommended from 4 years old) that tells the story of the emperor of China and his journey in search of a very special bird so that his daughter Chinchulina can regain joy.
- February 25: 'Abra Cadabra. The Magical Legend'. Family magic show by Jammes Garibo. A visual, fun and participatory show. Tickets can be purchased in advance at this link.
- 25 March: Unique. A show for all audiences from 6 years old, which is intended to be a reflection of what jealousy over the birth of a sibling can cause in a child and in her environment.
Paul is an only child and the king of his house. The birth of his sister Irati will cause an intimate fear of leaving his loved one to take hold of him, threatening family stability.
Mixing the techniques of the puppet and the most realistic theater, the disturbing theme of jealousy is raised, looking at them squarely in all their crudeness, although without ever losing his sense of humor. The objective of this show is to reflect together on issues such as coexistence, education, self-esteem, sadness or attachment.
