On Sunday, the third scoring round of the XXXIII Volta Ciclista a la Marina in the Alicante town of Vila Joiosa. This test had a route of 85 kilometers and 1500 meters of positive slope.
The squad had a tough and demanding route between the towns of Sella and Relleu, with the double pass through the port of The Rapelles. From the beginning, the brothers, Saoro and Adelino MollThey tried to escape but they were all neutralized. In addition, a few kilometers from the exit, Saoro suffered a puncture that forced him to set foot on the ground.
Until the halfway point of the race, Àlex Seguí was able to maintain the high pace imposed by the front runners, being able to complete one of the two stipulated laps. For his part, Adelino Moll achieved the goal, being the best climber of the day, imposing himself in the two steps by Rapelles and thus be placed leader of the mountain with 18 points and wear the red jersey.
The next weekend Adelino and Moll Saor will form an Elite UCI team in the stage race of the Costa Blanca Bike Race, where they will also be present Tomás Miralles, Dani Cepa and Àlex Seguí in the version Half.
