Open the deadline to submit housing subsidies 2019

The Ministry of Housing, Public Works and Vertebration of the Territory has opened the deadline for the application for aid for the rental of housing and specific grants for rent for young people in the 2019 exercise, as published in the Official Gazette of the Generalitat Valenciana ( DOGV).

The aids, framed within the 2018-2021 State Housing Plan, are co-financed by the Ministry and the Generalitat and are grouped into two programs. An investment of 20 million euros is envisaged (14.089.000 euros are provided by the Ministry and the Generalitat 5.911.000 euros), of which 13.450.000 euros will be allocated to the rental assistance program and 6.550.000 euros will be allocated to the specific program of rent subsidies for young people .

The deadline is March 8

In both cases, the deadline for submitting applications is open from the 13 in February and the 8 in March will end, inclusive. The procedures that must be completed will be published on the website of the Ministry. The application may be submitted electronically if a digital signature is available and, if not, the form must be completed electronically, which must be printed, signed and presented in the entry register for validity.

Rental assistance

The housing rental assistance program is aimed at persons holding a lease contract and the housing is the habitual and permanent residence, in addition the income must be less than three, four and five times the IPREM depending on the cases.

In addition, those affected by evictions, dation in payment or foreclosure in the last ten years have priority; single-parent families or numerous, women victims of gender violence, victims of terrorism, people with functional diversity, people with severe mental disorder, young extutelados and living units affected by catastrophic situations.

Similarly, "Preference is given to women in situations of need or at risk of exclusion, especially when they have minor sons and daughters exclusively in their care, as well as the coexistence units in which all people are unemployed and have exhausted corresponding benefits ", Salvador has indicated.

These grants reach up to 40% of the lease, with a maximum of 2.880 euros per year and can be up to 50% of the rent if all the members of the coexistence unit have more than 65 years.

Aid to young people

The grants are up to 40% of the rent or 50% for children under 35 years and older than 65. The resolution published by the DOGV contemplates specific aids for young people that at the moment of requesting it are under 35 years or it is a coexistence unit in which all the members are under 35 years and do not receive any other help to attend the payment of the rent.

When the beneficiary of these grants changes their address to another one located in the Comunitat, they must inform the Conselleria so as not to lose the right. This line includes a percentage of aid up to 50% of the rent.
