This summer, for the first time, a Triathlon Campus will be held in Xàbia. Organized by the Club Atletisme Llebeig Xàbia, this Campus will take place from July 18 to 29 from Monday to Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 14:00 p.m. at the CEIP Graüll athletics track.
From the Club they indicate that this campus will not be a particularly technical campus, from the sports point of view, but that it is designed so that children can enjoy this sport in a playful and fun way and at the same time that they know this modality.
Those interested in enrolling in this summer school must be between 10 and 16 years old (that is, born between 2004 and 2012) and it is essential to know how to swim and ride a bike, since outings will be made to practice swimming and cycling.
Registration is now open and places are limited to a maximum of 30 boys or girls. The price for the two weeks of campus is 100 euros for members and 120 euros for non-members.
To formalize the registration it will be necessary to fill in use this form and send to the club email (callebeig@gmail.com) a photocopy of the child's DNI and the corresponding proof of payment to be made to this account number (ES85 2100 8859 7013 0034 5462).
From the club they state that this new sports initiative is intended to promote the practice of this modality, as well as give visibility to this sport, both locally and regionally, since it will be the first school to be created in our region. At the same time, the Llebeig intends to create a triathlon school for next year.
