Last Friday began the administration of the third dose for the elderly and immunosuppressed in the Marina Alta. This booster dose against the coronavirus has already been inoculated to the residents of the Asilo Hermanos Cholbi de Xàbia.
A total of 56 older than 60 who reside in the Asylum have received the third dose provided by the Ministry of Health. The four remaining residents, as indicated by Bartolomé Chorro, director of the Asylum, will be administered the vaccine in the coming weeks, "when the first two have been given six months."
The 56 vaccinated residents have received the new 'booster' dose eight months after the first dose was administered at the center.
