The Minister of Health, Ana Barceló, has started her appearance today highlighting the data from the PCR tests carried out. Barceló has pointed out that 9 out of 10 Valencians have tested negative for coronavirus in the test, until this Thursday 106.087 people have undergone this test, of which a total of 95.825 have tested negative. The total number of tests carried out so far has been 182.067 through PCR.
Regarding the tests carried out in Primary Care, between May 11 and 19, they amount to a total of 4.120 PCR, of which 3.815 tests have been negative throughout the Valencian Community, representing 93% of the total.
Likewise, the Valencian Community has registered a total of 38 new positive cases of COVID-19 confirmed through PCR.
On the other hand, one more day, the number of people hospitalized continues to decline, having given 173 discharges in the last 24 hours, bringing to 10.523 the number of people who have already overcome the disease throughout the territory.
Currently 271 people are hospitalized (10 less than on Wednesday) and 39 people remain in the ICU, (4 less than the previous day).
In deaths, there has only been 1 death in the last hours, which has been in Valencia, "highlighting that there are none in residence for the second consecutive day", has indicated the consellera.
