With the arrival of May, multiculturalism in Xàbia will acquire a special role through music in the I International Piano Comxicotetion Villa de Xàbia to be held in the municipality of 3 to 5 next month.
The first edition of this event has been very well received by both junior and senior musicians from around the world, which is demonstrated by provenances of 28 Participants from across the country but also coming from as far afield as australia, Georgia and Taiwan.
The artistic director of the contest, Nati Ballarín said during the presentation that wanted to give this contest own multiculturalism of Jávea.
The official opening of the comxicotetion will be on Friday, May 3 at 18:XNUMX p.m. with a free concert by Philippe Raskin, one of the best pianists in Belgium, who will perform at the House of Culture.
The contest itself coemnzará on Saturday at 10 am with the selection of the finalists, who will perform on Sunday from the 11 morning. That same day, at 19 hours, will be the awards ceremony. The winner of the senior category 1.200 euros and the winner of the junior category will be 500. In addition both receive scores, scholarships and the ability to perform recitals in Xàbia.
The jury will be chaired by by Nati Ballarín and composed by masters like Giuliano Adorno (Italy), Arcadie Triboi (Moldova), Antonio Gómez Schneekloth (Spain), Phipippe Raskin (Belgium), Saya Sangidorj (Mongolia) and Damyan Tudzharov (Bulgaria). In addition, the public can also choose the best performance in his opinion.
