Xàbia closes the month of June, one more year, with the International Festival that will be held on Avenida Augusta, in front of IES nº1, from 28 to 30 in June.
This 2018 is already celebrated edition number 23. The president of the festival, Raúl de Lope, highlighted the great personal effort made to carry out a good festival. "The format is similar to the previous editions: Family and multiculture in which the best of the culture and gastronomy of each of the participating countries is shown"said the president.
De Lope thanked the sponsors and the Town hall the support provided, "It's three days of shows and we hope they visit us from all over the region. From the organization we have put a limit of 22 countries to maintain the comfort and space that is wonderful. We only accept the incorporation of new countries when others unsubscribe ".
In this 23 edition there are three new additions: Ireland, Ecuador and Russia. The rest of the participating countries are: Germany, Argentina, Belgium, Chile, Colombia, Cuba, Spain, France, Holland, England, Italy, Madagascar, Morocco, Mexico, Poland, Switzerland, Uruguay, Venezuela and the stands of Xàbia and Cruz Red
El councilman Festival, Tony Miragall, indicated that it was a satisfaction to be in the presentation and remarked that the international festival is a link of union of all the cultures that coexist in Xàbia.
In turn, the Mayor of Xàbia, José Chulvi He stressed that Augusta Avenue is an ideal area for this event and pointed out that "Xàbia is a small town of 30.000 inhabitants that in the summer season surpasses the 100.000, but in the town it shows how big it is as diversity since different nationalities coexist near 80. The festival shows the Valencian Community that it is possible to live together culture, music and gastronomy ".
The complete program of this festival can be consulted in the magazine that has been designed by Merche Valdés in which 50.000 flyers and 8.000 copies have been published and will be distributed by the Association in usual points. His presentation parade will be on 17 Sunday in June.
