16 March 2020 - 19: 31

First thing this morning we posted that six residents of the Marina Alta region were affected by the coronavirus in a mild way. In fact, of the six positive cases, only two are hospitalized and four of them are in home isolation.

Of the hospitalized, only one is admitted to the ICU. The Healthcare Director of the Dénia Health Department, Dr. Pedro Clemente, has indicated that the situation "it is calm contained" because of the small number of cases, "although possibly a worsening that has not yet occurred".

Clemente asks citizens to stay home to reduce the curve of the virus and thus the traffic of people in the hospital center.

Likewise, the Department of Health of Dénia -DSD- has launched this Monday its Contingency Plan against the coronavirus.

As long as the work is not completely stopped, the number of those affected will continue to rise. I respectfully demand as an inhabitant of Javea that all more work stop.
No more workers, gardeners etc and etc on the streets of javea.
Please do everything that the inhabitants have to do for us, we ask you please.
