Leisure
As Jávea is a growing town, it boasts a wide and varied offer of leisure activities. There are many cafeterias and terrace bars on the promenade and in the Arenal, as well as pubs, discos, skating rinks, go-kart circuits, cinemas, drive-in cinemas, etc. The Town Council offers a varied programme of cultural interest: courses, conferences, musical shows, etc. The range of cultural activities is completed by various organisations and bodies: Municipal Painting School: Jávea-Xàbia Cultural Atheneum: Youth Office: School of Music and Dance: Jávea Musical Artistic Centre: Municipal Library: "Soler Blasco" Archaeological and Ethnographical Museum. Many sports can be practised in Jávea, particularly those associated with the sea and the mountain. |
